Seaweed is high in Iodine which supports the thyroid. It's also high in vitamin A, C and a good source of calcium.

For this it was; sunflower kitchen's vegan pesto (love that stuff on anything), leftover quinoa, leftover beet hummus, avocado, sprouts, cilantro, sprinkles of hemp hearts and black sesame seeds.
Black sesame seeds are an integral food in Chinese medicine and promote the liver, spleen, and kidney meridians. Because they support the kidney essence they are believed to be anti-aging and have been known to reverse greying of hair. In western medicine, they are high in healthy fats, vitamin E and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. I love putting them on my savoury foods but afer looking thru all the pictures, I just might be adding them to sweet dishes as well.
